Security officers are one of the most effective means of securing your valuable assets and protecting what is most important to you. Unarmed security officers must complete 16 hours of State-mandated training in addition to on-the-job training.
Armed Security Officers
Armed security officers must complete the unarmed security training in addition to 40 hours of defensive tactics and rigorous firearm training.
Patrol Supervisors are on duty 24/7 to ensure that officers are alert, each post is properly manned, and can respond to any emergency situation. They are also available to open/close properties and check on your business to ensure that it is properly secured.
MGMS will dispatch a security officer to determine the cause of the alarm and verify if a break-in has occurred. Once verified, the officer will notify the proper chain of command, which includes contacting law enforcement and client-designated officials, as well as relay further instructions to the security officer on site.
Training is provided to all security officers but can also be provided to the client and their employees. Training includes:
-CPR, First Aid, AED
-Surviving an Active Shooter
-Crisis Prevention Intervention
Security surveys are conducted at the client's request and include an on-site examination and analysis of the facility to determine what assets are present and their value; evaluate the existing security program; identify differences or excesses; determine the protection needed; and to support recommendations to improve overall security.
